    Rocklands Farm Easter Chick Rental

    Did you know you could rent chicks over the Easter weekend? In Poolesville, MD; Rocklands Farm; “Easter Rent-a-Chick” is an opportunity for families, friends, schools and other groups to take care of two adorable chicks for one week over the Easter holiday. Come to the farm on Saturday April 4th to pick up your box of chicks and return them on Saturday April 11th. The cost is $25. All supplies to care for the chicks will be provided including their little home, food and instructions.

    CVC Series- Second Workshop

    Register for Corporate Volunteer Council’s Workshop 2: “How to Design Corporate Volunteering That Impacts Business and Society” with speaker Bea Boccalandro. Ms. Boccalandro; President of VeraWorks; is an industry expert on the impact of corporate community involvement. She has worked with national and global companies, for instance Allstate, Bank of America, FedEx, HP, Toyota, and Disney.

    The second workshop will be held on Thursday, March 26th, 8-10am, at United Therapeutics Education Center in Silver Spring, MD.
