Real world “Food For Thought”… University of Maryland’s innovative course “Eating with Eyes Wide Open” begins this fall 2013. Lecturer, Charlie Apter, will discuss the environmental and health consequences of the way we eat. Students will tackle food challenges such as eliminating sugar or meat from their diets as well as keep food journals and attend weekly demonstrations. Read more: Eating With Eyes Wide Open
