    Board of Trade Transportation Regional Policy Forum takes places tomorrow, May 21st at George Washington University in the Jack Morton Auditorium.

     

    “Gain firsthand insights on Greater Washington’s most pressing transportation issues, including the newly signed landmark transportation funding legislation in Maryland and Virginia. These leaders will discuss topics such as: the impact of Sequestration budget cuts, public-private partnerships as well as current status of key road and rail projects including, Rail to Dulles, streetcars in DC, the Purple Line and more.”

    Johns Hopkins first “in Action” effort, launched this past Sunday, was a huge success. Congratulations to all those involved! “In collaboration with community organizations, participants worked on service projects that reflect the campaign's emphasis on sustaining water resources, revitalizing cities, and improving health. Projects included building a community garden, cleaning up an area stream, and volunteering with Moveable Feast, which helps put healthy food on the table for people in Maryland with AIDS, breast cancer and other severe illnesses.” Learn more: Johns Hopkins in Action
